The Songbird Magnet® was designed in consultation with ornithologists and biologists for maximum realism. Naturally recorded digital output represents multiple individuals, with each song set to play at naturally occurring sound levels and optimal intervals for attracting songbirds.
Settings:
Purple Martin dawnsong calls new tenants – these desirable, insect-eating birds nest together and will return to the same communal house year after year. The weather-proof electronic bird caller can be activated to play the Purple Martin call for two hours at dawn, and then shuts off automatically.
Favorite Songbirds – calls Baltimore Oriole, House Finch, Indigo Bunting, American Goldfinch, House Wren and Eastern Bluebird.
Installation:
Installation is easy. Simply place the electronic bird attractant near the desired area where songbirds can perch. Keyhole slots on the back of the unit can be used to mount the device to any wall, building, fence, post or wooden structure using nails or wood screws. All mounting hardware is included. When choosing where to mount the device, make sure to keep the speaker facing outward. Use the included AC adapter to power the unit.

Amazing! I hadn’t seen a Martin yet this spring, and although we had interest in the nests last year, we had no tenants. I ordered the Songbird Magnet and plugged it in this morning.
