DUCK REPELLENT TIPS AND DETERRENT METHODS
How to Get Rid of Ducks
Ducks are frequently found in unwanted spaces such as golf courses, lake houses, river fronts, as well as residential properties with swimming pools, fountains, grassy areas, or similar conditions.
How to Keep Ducks Out of Pool
The best thing you can do to get ducks out of specific areas is, if possible, block off or remove all access to areas providing the water and food. Floating Bird Balls completely cover the water’s surface, preventing ducks from landing and swimming. Another duck deterrent option is Bird-X Netting, which is 100% effective when installed properly, however may not be feasible or appropriate for large areas.
We also manufacture other duck-scaring devices, such as our Irri-tape. This product is both noisy and visually upsetting to ducks, proving to be extremely effective, especially when used around boats, docks and marinas.
Bird Stop taste deterrent will help stop ducks from settling on lawns, parking lots, roofs, and other large, open areas. It can also be added to non-fish bearing bodies of water, such as decorative fountains, to harmlessly keep ducks and other birds out.
Visual deterrents are helpful against ducks, including the Gator Guard for use on water and our 3D-Coyote for lawn and garden.
In larger areas where noise is not a large concern, our Goosebuster — an ultrasonic duck repellent — is also highly effective.
