Scare-Eye® Balloons are visual bird deterrents designed to discourage pest birds from landing in outdoor areas. These vinyl balloons move with the wind and feature reflective “eyes” intended to create a visual stimulus that may encourage birds to avoid treated spaces within visible range. The set includes three balloons in yellow, white, and black. Easy to install and cost-effective, each balloon includes strings, mylar eyes, and mylar tails for convenient setup in a variety of outdoor locations.

Scare-Eye® Balloons feature bold markings inspired by the appearance of natural predators to provide a visual bird deterrent. As the balloons move with the wind, they create changing visual stimuli that are designed to discourage pest birds from landing in the area. Reflective holographic material creates the appearance of moving eyes to enhance the visual effect. Made from weather-resistant vinyl, the balloons are easy to inflate, install, and hang in a variety of outdoor locations.

I have been fighting birds attempting to nest in my porch eaves for 4 years. Netting, pie plates, high pressure water blasts…nothing worked. I bought a package of these Scare Eye Balloons, put one up and the birds sat in the tree for a couple of hours, then left, and haven’t returned! Looks silly, but effective! – Anonymous
I live in the woods and have had problems with robins for years. Besides being annoying they make a big mess by leaving little robin bombs on the windows all around my house. I’ve tried putting up curtains, posting pictures of predatory birds with no effect. Then I purchased Scare Eyes. I had to experiment with the placement of the balloons, but they did drive the robins away and kept them away as long as I rotated the colors (as instructed) every week or so. I found that they work best when hung above, not beside, the problem area. Well worth the money. – Steve G.
We have a sour cherry tree in our yard. Every June, thousands of bright red cherries ripen and provide us with stock for a year’s worth of pie making. Last year, the birds ate the entire crop off the tree before we got a chance to pick them. I was heartbroken! This year, we hung these Scare Eye Balloons in the tree (along with some of the holographic tape), and I am happy to say that I harvested a huge crop of ripe red cherries this year — birds stayed away! – Anonymous
