They said it wouldn’t work but they were wrong!!! Deer Gard works great. I read another review that said to use AC not batteries so I took the advise. I have deer in my forest not a 100 feet from my plantings around my house. Since I started using the Deer Gard the deer haven’t eaten any of my plants, even the roses! All our friends said nothing would keep the deer away except maybe a dog. They were all wrong.

Works great! This product has works great! I have tried many sprays and other products to keep the deer out of my gardens. This is the first thing that really kept them away. This is year 2 for my 2 Deer Gard units. They are in our front and back yards centered under a protected eave. Both are battery-driven. Both mounted in a 3 sided basswood box suspended from the eave with a 15 degree down angle pointed at the rear lot line or front curb. The frequency is set at deer. Sensitivity is set at 2/3 clockwise rotation. Our lot is 74 feet wide, while our house is 54 feet wide. They are effective on deer, geese, and squirrels. I expected deer deterrence, but only hoped for geese deterrence. A friend nearby had already used them for squirrels. We are in Kansas City, MO in a lake neighborhood. Just an FYI. Thanks. …Before Deer Gard, we tried dozens of chemicals, devices, and barriers. Some worked at first – but then deer became used to them. Every year, they stripped our azaleas and many other plants clean of buds and leaves from fall to early spring. There were no flowering azaleas in our yard then! In short, deer made themselves at home in our yard.
